For more than 150 years, Huston-Tillotson University became a home for dreamers, doers and difference-makers in the heart of Austin. Our story is one of resilience and unity, built by generations who turned challenges into impact.
In 1952, Samuel Huston College and Tillotson College joined together, united by their shared commitment to faith, learning and community. That partnership created a legacy of collaboration that continues to guide us today.
As we celebrate our sesquicentennial, we honor the grit that built our foundation and the community spirit that continues to move us forward.
